RA-C Meeting (Mar. 2018)
The third meeting of the Research Area C "Predictability of local Weather" took place on March 19th 2018 in Karlsruhe. Twenty researchers from the research areas A, B, C, the Z projects, and a few other researchers involved in W2W took part in the meeting.
The ECS presented their latest results and their ongoing collaborations, within and outside of W2W. The lively and fruitful discussions focused on common tools and softwares used in RA-C and more generally in W2W (e.g. TIGGE, ERA5, S2S, Met.3D), as well as on the second phase of W2W and the visualization needs in the meteorological community.
