Maria Madsen

Maria Madsen is a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She explores characteristic intraseasonal transitions of the wintertime Pacific jet stream. She is collaborating with Christian Grams and Seraphine Hauser in the A8 project where her research will provide an important contribution to understanding the role of teleconnections for blocked weather regimes in Europe.

Maria was invited by the early career scientists in W2W to visit the Institute for Meteorology and Climate Research at KIT, the Institute for Atmospheric Physics in Mainz,  and the Meteorological Institute in Munich from X to X 2020.
